Computer Specs.
MOBO: Asus Z87-C
CPU: i5-4670K
GPU: 2 R9-270X
PSU: Corsair TX 850

I just got a second graphics card today and I tried to set them up for crossfire when I noticed the 2nd GPU show disabled in the settings menu. There is also no place to enable cross fire. What can I do to enable my 2nd GPU and crossfire them? Thanks.

Solution

try using second latest driver. maybe there is some issue with AMD latest drivers causing CF cannot be...

I took it off and re-inserted the bridge. It still shows disabled.
What I did later was uninstall the drivers and then use the CD that came with the graphics card and installed that driver. The driver that came with it is really old but it let me cross fire my two cards. I enabled cross fire and then I updated the driver to the latest one. The new driver then did the same thing and showed card two as disabled and the crossfire setting gone. Why am I able to cross fire with an old driver but not the new? I don't think the cards have any problems if they are fine with the old driver.

I uninstalled the drivers and then did a clean install with the drivers on the CD from my graphics card to see if it would work and it did! I was able to crossfire my cards with the old driver. I then updated the driver and then the Radeon settings showed card 2 as disabled again and had no option to cross fire. I upload pics if that'll help.
