If I plug my modem directly to a usb port of my laptop, it works fine. But when I plug it through a usb 2.0 cable to a usb port of my desktop, it frequently connects and disconnects.
The modem uses latest RNDIS drivers. The cable works fine with other type of modems. Both laptop and desktop use Windows-7 32 bit OS.
