GPU Temperature Limit & Keeping it Under (2x GTX 560 Ti)

Recently I was given a few computer parts from someone who was upgrading and now I am able to play a few of the games I have had in my library that I have yet to play.

This was my first time building a PC and I am still a novice at it all.

As stated in the title I have two GTX 560 Ti cards, both in the x16 slots and SLI is set up (Don't really know if I should have this enabled or disabled. Haven't noticed much of a difference in fps either way). I am also using two monitors, both plugged into one card for the SLI to work (Enabled currently). I have been told that these are somewhat out of date cards (Not a big deal to me) and that they get hot quite easily.

The most graphics intensive game I am running would be either Metro Last Light Redux, Alien Isolation, or maybe Outlast 2 if I can run that when it comes out.

I downloaded MSI Afterburner to check the temperatures (Probably no need for me to overclock and I don't want to really risk it being a novice). Playing Metro 2033 Redux, the temperature for one card got up to 93C and still seemed to climb. I was told 90+ is not good but I could be wrong.

So what are the temperatures that these cards should be running at? How could I make sure they aren't going over their limits without me knowing? I have the side of the case off for ventilation and the monitors are plugged into the card on top.

Thanks for that. Just wondering how you think my fan curve should be set up. I messed around with it a little bit and only moved one node around. It should be highlighted.

What do you think? As I stated I am a novice and I don't want to risk anything.

I'm no expert but that looks pretty reasonable. Maybe try a few out until you're happy.
