i already got 8gb corsair vengeance and i think i need to upgrade it for my games. my mobo got only 2 ram slots can i add another 16gb stick with existing 8gb one ?

Solution
Your motherboard supports dual-channel memory architecture for better performance, but, in order for dual-channel to work, both RAM modules have to be the same capacity, ideally bought as a matched pair.

8GB + 16GB will work, but you won't get the performance benefits of dual-channel.

So ideally you need to use 2 x 8GB or 2 x 16GB.

8GB ram are enough at this point for any game. 24GB is overkill. Why don't you buy another 8GB ram stick? Exactly the same model (color doesn't matter).
Anyway, pairing different size ram is usually not a good idea.
