Hello. I've recently ordered the components for a new PC I wanted to build for myself.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX1060 3 GB GDDR5
Corsair CP-9020097-UK VS550 ATX/EPS Vs Series 80 Plus Power Supply Unit
INTEL Skylake Core i5 6500 3.2Ghz
ASUS H110M-A Motherboard
8GB 2133Mhz DDR4 Crucial RAM
NZXT S340 Razer edition case
+ My old HDD
I put it all together watching step by step guides, after everything was finally done, I booted the device, got into bios to configure boot order, ran the windows installation and a short while later the PC shut down on its own and I wasn't able to get it booted up again. I don't get any signals or anything when I try to turn it on. The only sign of life is a short blink of the green LED light on the bottom of this NZXT case.

I'm very frustrated and demotivated right now, because I can't find/understand the cause of this problem in order to fix it. I hope I can get some advice on what should I do in this type of situation.

The weakest (worst) part in your build is your Tier four PSU.
PSU Tier list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

I suggest you go and get a Tier two unit, preferably Tier one if you could afford it.

For Tier two, i suggest Seasonic S12II-520 (80+ Bronze, fully wired)
specs: https://seasonic.com/product/s12ii-520/

For Tier one, Seasonic X-650 (80+ Gold, fully modular)
specs: https://seasonic.com/product/x-650/

So this is most likely a PSU fault? I'm currently on a tight budget, saving up for a monitor/ssd. But if it is indeed the problem, I'm willing to buy one, just to get everything to work.
