Hi, I've just finished my new PC, the initial idea was to install a 2-way crossfire of Radeon RX480.
I actually bought the first one, a Sapphire Nitro model, but Now I have a question:

My PSU is an XFX XTR P1-750B-BEFX; 750Wt 80+ gold full modular. I thought it was enough for 2 RX480 but, my mistake, I discovered that the Nitro model has a higher power consumption than the reference model.

I'm not an expert so I'm asking here, searching for answers: can my power-supply support 2 Nitro RX480 8GB? thanks to all for the patience!

Solution
750w (especially a good one like that) is more than enough. I used to crossfire 2 R9 280's which are far less power efficient than the RX 480 on an EVGA 750B2 and the most the whole rig ever drew from the wall was about 600 watts.
It should be able to support it, but it's a bit close. The reference model uses up to 30 amps, and your PSU can provide 62 amps. With xfire it never uses up twice the amount, but it is a bit close. It should be fine though, unless your cards will constantly draw the maximum amount of power they can constantly, something that never happens in real life.

There is no way a RX 480 uses 30a(360w) by itself. Even with an 8-pin pci-e power connector the card has a theoretical max of 225w(75w from slot and 150w from 8-pin).

AMD recommends you use a PSU with atleast 30a on the 12v rail for a single, but that does not mean the card uses 30a. A typical system with a single RX480 will usually use around 300w at load and with a 2nd would it be around 500w. So unless he is using a 220w space heater as a cpu then 750w is plenty to crossfire RX 480s.

Thanks guys, the nitro model has an 8-pin connector instead of the 6-pin of the reference, can I proceed without problems?

The rest of the rig is the following:
-i7-6700K 4.2Ghz
-Lepa Acquacharger 120V liquid cpu cooler
-Asus Maximus VIII Gene MicroATX motherboard
-16Gb Ram Gskill TridentZ DDR4-3000mhz
-1x Sapphire nitro RX480
-1x ssd sata
-1x HDD 7200rpm sata
-1x 200mm led fan
-2x 120mm led fan

More than enough power , no problem with Nitro Crossfire.

Absolutely. Both my cards had an 8 AND a 6 pin on them, still only used 600w for the whole system.
