Hello,
so I have a problem with my current build (written under the post) where I play Battlefield 4 or Black Ops 3 and games constantly stutter. Basically my experience looks like this: i play with 40-50 fps and then comes the stuttering wave, where fps drastically decrease to about 20-30 and then it doesnt usually go above 50 where I think it should. Sometimes the games even just hang for half a second. My question is: what maybe the component which is guilty for all of this?
My build:
gpu - gtx 970
cpu - i5 - 4460 (all cores unparked)
mobo - b85m-d2v
ram - 8gb 1333mhz
hdd - 1tb corsair (some old one from around 2011)

Solution
Could be a pretty wide variety of things. I would check task manager during these stutters and see if any components are being pushed too hard. Additionally, I would get a program that you can use to monitor your temperatures, and check those during the stutters as well, your system may be thermal throttling.

Yeah, that could do it. I had a failing old hard drive that caused similar issues awhile ago. And your other components are not being fully utilized during this?

No, there is only a big usage of RAM but I am adding 8gb to run BF1 smoothly.
So im gonna but some SSD 120GB and see if it helps.
Thank You for your help:--)
