Hello,

Last week I updated my GPU from an ATI Radeon HD 7770 to a RX 480, it works awesome in games and everything, but I get the feeling that the text is blurry/fuzzy and after a relatively short time it starts hurting my eyes. I've tried uninstalling my drivers with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and installing the newest ones from scratch but that doesn't solve my problem; I'm kind of desperate now, so the only option left for me is reformatting my PC. What do you suggest?

Regards.

i assume that you already setup the resolution to the native one supported by your monitor... if not, check this one first...

next, i would try to reset the monitor to the default settings.

possible to post a photo of what you see on the monitor (you know try to take the photo without moving your hand so that we see as much as possible the extent of the problem)

Hello,

I'm using an HDMI connection to a HDTV 42" TV, I know, TVs arent as crisp as monitors but with the previous GPU I didn't have this issue.

About the picture, I'm not currently at home so I'll have to wait.

Any other suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

I have this issue too, I can feel your pain if you solve this let me know so far I think it may be a PSU problem, not sure the only way to check would be to see if your monitor is blurry using Onboard graphics WHILE your gpu is running, if its blurry than try to turn of your RX480 and using onboard, if its not blurry than its most likely the PSU, other wise try usinging different cables (DVI, HDMI' Display port), you can also try to go into your monitor setting and set it to PC mode if its on AV mode. let me know if you find a soloution, I'm literally depressed from this since I spent so much money on a gtx 1080

maybe it has something to do with color calibration?
i believe it can be done separately for one monitor and another / tv

there is a step where the fonts are getting calibrated.

if this does not help, then it has to be something in the tv - vertical / horizontal alignment that might help...
