Ever since installing nvidia official drivers my video card crashes every after 2-3 hrs, sometimes minutes when playing any game. I dont want to install slimcleaner as before it crashed my PC and i needed to reformat, are there any tools like slimcleaner? and please stop linking a windows 8 solution that didnt work either becase 1) its a different OS

Just use a snapshot tool (i.e. Comodo Time Machine, RollBack Rx, etc) and take a snapshot before you run the updates. If it gives issues just restore the machine.

As for your current driver set that's causing issues, uninstall them in Safe Mode.
