xps 8700 upgrade psu and gpu

I have Dell XPS 8700 i7 32GB RAM GeForce GTX 645 BIOS A3.

I have a R9 280 3G GDDR3 video card would like to install. What PSU I need that fits xps 8700 and have enough power for this card? Any specific guidelines for installation and setup? What about BIOS? Can I upgrade BIOS straight from A3 to the required version?

newer cards need at least bios A-10 like there was issue when the gtx 900 cards came out and that bios resolved the compatibility issues [easy to look up/in to] now don't know what bios support the AMD r cards ?? mat just use the latest one to be safe and ready to go ??

best thing to do is look over dells forum on what there guys are doing on the psu ?
