Right now I have a IN WIN IP-S450CQ2-0 G (3YR) 450W ATX Power Supply (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817374049) and I am planning on buying GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 960 4GB WINDFORCE 2X OC EDITION (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125778#). I was wondering if my psu is compatible and can run it. I am fairly new at this, and I don't know how to check if it is. :)

I would. The psu you have only has 2 12v rails, and the gpu would need both. And your psu only has 2 molex plugs, so if you use molex on your HDD or disk drive you would have to replace them with sata. If you are going cheap the EVGA 500 W1 would be better, also Corsair, and Seasonic make the best psus, but they can be expensive.
Hello... the GTX960 specs at 120 watts or 12 amps@12Vdc minimum... and the PS states enough 12VDC amperage to do it... also the Video card will come with a 8pin and 6 pin PCIe molex power adaptors for a Power supply connection... you will need to use the 8pin included power molex adaptor with the your PS 6 pin PCIe power connector, connected to the Video card.

Do you have two un-used molex connectors available, from your PS, to use with the PCIe 8pin adaptor connection?

Would you suggest just buying a new power supply all together?
