Hey guys, long read here but here it goes. I'm upgrading my graphics card and I was stuck debating between the gtx 1060 vs 970 but have gone the 1060 route. Thing I'm confused about is that the 1060 doesn't support sli and I was looking into if it's worth it to worry about it. So I went to good ol google, reading up on the 1060, and I saw what is shown in the picture (On link). The DX 12 multi-adapter support got me, I didn't understand it. Tried googling DX 12 yet didn't understand what the multi-adapter support this gentleman was referring to. Can someone explain this? Does this mean that SLI and Crossfire will be obsolete and a new bridge will be introduced? Thank you for your time guys. I haven't SLI'ed anything before so I'm not too sure how big of an improvement it is all I know is that my Gtx 570 isn't worth me buying another 570 and SLI'ing.

Solution
DX12 Multi Adapter support means that pretty much any two DX12 cards can be used together, the downside is that the game or application will have to have that support written into the code by the developers.
