Problem uninstalling AMD drivers

I seem to be having an issue uninstalling my old drivers for my R9 280X. When I open catalyst control center to do a custom uninstall it gives me the same option as the express uninstall, wanting to uninstall everything. There are no options to pick and choose what gets uninstalled, just the "new version" or "all versions", exactly like the express option. I'd like to do an express uninstall, but any time I've done it in the past my keyboard and mouse both quit working. Last time I had to go into the attic and find an old mouse that connected via PS2 just to have control of the cursor so I could do a system restore. The last driver update I did was a year ago (15.201.1151.1005) and I had to do it via the device manager, which I'm sure wasn't ideal. Any ideas how I can remove the video drivers correctly without losing my keyboard and mouse again?

Thanks for your recommendation. I actually contacted DDU just to be sure their driver uninstaller wouldn't remove the chipset drivers like ccc did and he verified it would not. My RX 480 arrives tomorrow so hopefully DDU will do the trick!

Odd that uninstalling the gfx driver would affect the mouse and KB drivers. Those are windows default at boot even if no proprietary drivers are installed. And if you are still using CCC, you are behind the times. AMD mothballed the CCC to legacy products. Crimson Edition replaced CCC over a year ago.

uninstalling just the graphics driver doesn't do it actually, but ccc doesn't give me the custom uninstall choice to select just those. Instead it presents me the exact same screen as the express uninstall, and when doing that it removes all AMD drivers, which apparently includes all my bus drivers. And yeah, I'm way out of date. I stopped updating the driver almost exactly a year ago just because of this. The one I have seemed to work well enough for my games and the headache wasn't worth it. Now that I'm getting a new card I figured I better find out how to fix this properly. Hopefully with the crimson edition upgrade from AMD this won't be an issue any more. My last couple driver updates I just removed the display driver through device manager, and I'm sure that's less than ideal. Thanks again for your help.
