New Mouse Causes Keyboard to Stop Working Before OS Boots

I'm not sure what it is about my new mouse but it causes the keyboard to stop responding when I reach GRUB for selecting which OS to boot into. Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of consistency to it. Sometimes I can select the OS before the keyboard stops responding(but if I wait too long it will stop responding) and sometimes the keyboard will stop responding as soon as I get to the GRUB screen. I have to unplug and replug the keyboard to get it to work again but sometimes it stops working shortly afterwards. Once I'm booted into an OS I have no issues.

The mouse : https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Proteus-Spectrum-Tunable-Gaming/dp/B019OB663A
The motherboard : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128617

Not sure why other mouses I've tried don't cause the same issue. I've poked around in BIOS but didn't notice anything that would help but there could be something I'm overlooking. Thanks for any help.

Considering that the issue happens before any OS boots(it's fine once in an OS as my original post says) I doubt that would help. I tried it anyways and it didn't help.
