I'm looking for any advice on a good, relatively small cpu cooler. I'm new to DIY computer builds and I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I've been hearing that the Master cooler evo 212 is the best around but I don't think it will fit in my case. Anyone know of a good, slightly smaller alternative? I've got an AMD FX 6300 cpu and a bitfenix comrade case.

Wrong the best budget cooler is the Cryorig H7.

Also only 145mm tall , much shorter than the EVO.

Best budget cooler on the market.

Unmatched Compatibility
Zero RAM Interference

Focusing on providing the widest range of
compatibility, the H7 utilizes an asymmetric slanted
heatpipe layout to move the heatsink away from the
RAM zone, Offering optimal compatibility for RAM
with tall heat spreaders on both Intel 115X and
AMD platforms.
