I'm looking to buy a new graphics card for my computer. I'm not looking to spend more than 300$ on it. What would be good for my computer? I think about playing the new Battlefield 1 when it comes out. I do not need to play it on the best settings just as long as it is playable with decent graphics. Been looking on the gtx 1060 series from third parties.

My computer specs:

Corsair RM750x 750W PSU
Intel core i5 4670k @ 3.40 Ghz
120 gb samsung evo ssd
Current graphics card is a radeon hd 5000 series. (bottleneck)

Thank you!

I bought a GTX 1060 6GB to play Battlefield 1. I played the Beta with it + an i5-4690k on Ultra at 1080p and it was a great experience. See my gameplay video here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uhi2QGp4RIs

I've watched other gameplay videos of Battlefield 1 with i7-4790k + RX 480 and the difference in framerate is pretty clear. -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kAtLDDTcA4

So I recommend getting a GTX 1060 as it will perform the best for your budget.

Like everyone else said the 1060 will give you the most bang for your buck, as it were.

Unfortunately older cards are not much cheaper and they are a lot less powerful.
You would have to get a very old, used card to beat a 1060 in performance for the price.

If you really REALLY want something cheap, the 750 Ti is the best "budget" GPU with good performance it comes in around $100. They say the Radeon RX 460 is also good but for the price you might as well spring for a GTX 1060, lol
