How long will this build stay relevant for 1080p gaming?

Hey my dudes,

Here's the specs:
Central Processing Unit: Intel Core i7-6700k 4.00 GHz
Cpu Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Graphics Processing Unit:Msi GTX 1060 GamingX 6GB Oc:2025MHz
Installed Memory(RAM): HyperX 16GB DDR4-2133 CL14
Monitor: BenQ XL2411Z 24'' 144Hz 1ms
Motherboard: Asus Z170-A ATX DDR4 Oc:5%
Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 750W
Disk Drive: WDC WD10EALX-759BA1 SCSI

Please note that the Gpu is overclocked to 2050Mhz Core Clock and it almost performs as well as the 980 Ti.

Mmm... 2 to 3 years with the GTX 1060. Perhaps longer if you're willing to dial back the eye candy as games require more horsepower.

You could get as much as 4.5 years ouf of it if the 1060 is later upgraded to sli. Windows 10 should start supporting it in MDA mode soon with DX12 games.

It will last as long as you want it to.

I'm expecting my four years old i5-3470 to last me 7+ years based on how the upgrade itch set in by the third year before yet now, I'm at the fourth year mark and there is no itch whatsoever.

That kind of target will be difficult if not impossible to hit in many current games even if you overclocked the i7 to 5GHz.
