gtx 950 not working (?)

okay so i just built my gaming PC and i'm totally new to computers and all that, so naturally i have no idea what i'm doing. when i first put it all together it was connected to my wifi router via ethernet cord, and after some fiddling with the graphics card/drivers/etc, everything worked perfectly. i was running games at 100+fps. but then i moved the computer upstairs where it isn't connected to the internet, and now for some reason, i only get max 10 fps. could that be a coincidence? my gtx 950 appears to be installed properly, maybe it's the drivers that need updating? have no idea what the issue is but if anybody can help me, i will be forever in your debt.

When you moved the computer, did you plug in the video cord into the 950 card? From what you did and what is happening, the most likely thing is that you connected the monitor to the motherboard video and not the 950.

I would have put money you had it in the motherboard video hehe. Try reseating the card and RAM, also monitor temps with HWMonitor see how hot things get. Just moving a computer would not change anything unless something was damaged.
