Cant Update Nvidia Drivers Win 10.. PLEASE HELP!!!

Okay short and simple, everytime I try to install GeForce Experience 3.0, or even install a new driver from the website, both fail. GFE gets stuck on "Preparing to install" and then pops up and says Windows Task Scheduler should be running, and the driver install just hangs on "Checking System". So I tried every solution to get Task Scheduler running and NOTHING works, always says "Task Scheduler Started then Stopped" everytime I hit start, so I cant update/install GFE or any drivers because of Task Scheduler, and I cant start Task Scheduler to update the drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:pC SPECS:

CPU- AMD A8 5600k
GPU- GTX 750
MOBO- Biostar A55ML2
RAM- 6gb
HDD- 1, 150gb ... 1 750gb... both Sata.

**UPDATE**

Direct nvidia driver install just popped up with a Runtime error from Microsoft C++ Library..... idk man........

New driver from the website, do you mean the site i linked and you downloaded geforce drivers (correct bit version for your os) from there?

If anything i'd let Windows update do its thing or even system repair, might be missing something. Then re-try installing drivers or running DDU afterwards.

GFE might be having problems atm so try avoid it or have a look at permissions allowed for the program. Your anti-virus/firewall could be blocking it.

Yes thats where I got my drivers from. I did all that 2 days ago with nothing. Where is system repair? Im currently running sfc /scannow in command prompt its almost done, system wont let me defrag either because of the Task Scheduler problem... so the Task Sheduler is what is holding everything back for whatever reason.

Try installing the latest Microsoft c++ redist files https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/2977003 Windows Anniversary Update messed the runtime environment up for a lot of people. Sounds like that's your problem.

I will try that NOW! THANKS

BY THE WAY... my sfc scan just got done and found corrupt files Im adding a photo.
Any idea what this means?

okay so I installed the top drivers from the website, 2015 drivers I guess.
Restarted... It prompted me to update Java.. did that... restarted the browser.
Went to the geforce page and tried to AUTO DETECT gpu, AND IT SAYS I NEED JAVA!!!
I JUST INSTALLED JAVA!?!?!?!?!?!

... ok SO NOW, the Nvidia Geforce is still Saying Task Scheduler must be running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... HOWEVER...

I downloaded the latest driver and it finally got past the "checking sytem" stage, but now it says Nvidia installer FAILED!
Then after a few moments it popped up and said the same Runtime Error as last time.....

Uninstall GFE if its not already. Install GFE later if you want it but don't really need it.

What you could try is, remove the 750 from pc. Can you use onboard video for this?

Use ddu again.

Make sure Microsoft updates are upto date.

Then install the card again.

GFE is already uninstalled.
I guess I can try the 2013 packages.
And I dont have proper cable to use my A8s APU graphics.. only a DVI and HDMI cable, no blue.

Okay could all this come from when I installed a HDD from my old HP computer? Could it have installed things onto my main HDD that shouldnt be there? I mean Ive had thr other HDD in for over 2 years without any issues until 6 months ago, n even when the problem happened thhe HDD wasnt hooked up, so I tried hooking it back up to see if itd help, it didnt, all my drivers for this pc are on my main HDD so couldnt have installed proper files to the other HDD because it wasnt even hooked in at the time and its worked fine u til I got windows 10....

I tried using Windows Update, it checked for forever and said this....

Well I went into safe mode used DDU, uninstalled EVERYTHING even the Nvidia Folder.

Reboot and try to install drivers, SAME ISSUE, now I dont even have Nvidia Control Panel lol.

I got this Windows 10 free by signing up for it before it ever came out. Once it was ready Windows Installed
Windows 10, I had Windows 7 and had NO ISSUES, ever since Windows 10 everything has been screwed.
If I do a full reset, will it delete all my files? Im a audio engineer and have over 60 unfinished projects on my PC.

You'll keep most of your applications as it reads in the description if you click on recovery/reset.

You'll need to be extremely lucky or just a PC pro to get away with following just an upgrade. Advice generally is to do a fresh clean install afterwards using Microsoft's media creation tool to download Windows 10 again (The version you upgraded to) and burn to DVD/USB which many do.

Reset should do the same, some people just prefer to fresh install for piece of mind, but it should help fix your problem.

When I click on it and go to do it says "all the programs in this list will have to be reinstalled" and its ALL the programs I have installed which is over 100gb of programs ehich would take forever to reinstall. I dont have all the info to get some of the programs back as well..... man this is so frushtrating..

WAIT

I see a option in Backup that says Go to Backup and Restore (Windows 7) would this help without losing my programs?

NEVERMIND.... says Windows cannot find any backups.........................

I have the other HDD in my pc being used as a E drive and as a media drive or whatever... could I transfer everything to it, do the reset with that HDD not hooked up, go through the reset, then move them all back over? or how would I back them up without having to reinstall all of them on this 2nd HDD? My project files and a few audio effect files are all Im worried about the most I mean of course I want everything but I already know I can transfer the project files and vst files over to a HDD or USB drive Im just worried about the installation of a lot of the programs I have that I can no longer get back.

Any files you create by a program can be backedup, should be no reason you couldn't and just put back to the same folder after you reinstall that program. Like Microsoft word for example, any documents can be saved and moved but the program can't.

Yea I figured I couldnt move the programs and them just work again when i move them back lol.

But yea I will copy over all my project files and vst files over to the other HDD.

Do a reset, transfer them back after reinstalling everything, which is like 60 programs, SMH.

Honestly Ill probably just copy my entire Documents folder over to the other HDD.

And then I will follow up here if it worked, give it a few days as Ill be trying a few more fixes.

But I appreciate all the help, and by all means if you think of something else let me know.
