Hi.

Since Tuesday I have experienced Packet loss on my network ranging between 10 and 20%. I'm an avid online gamer and It's virtually impossible to play any game online at this stage.

I have contacted my ISP which denies any issue on their side and told me to check my local network.

I have done multiple tracert's and everytime the packet loss issue seems to pop up from my ISP server to the Server I'm trying to game on.

I stay in Mozambique and use TVCABO ADSL which jumps on the Seacom network to europe and from there it routes to the US.

Any advice on what I can do?

Unfortunately you may be in an area where service and support are either minimal and/or provided based on other factors.

Do you know anyone else nearby having the same or similar problems? That information could help narrow down the problem; i.e., if they have the same problems then it is not likely to be your local network.

Continue to contact your ISP.

Document your tracert's and hope that someone on the ISP side of things will both acknowledge and resolve the problem.

The problem could be within their network but, in all fairness, may be beyond their control as well.
