Hey everyone,
I'm having some issues with my windows 10 pc. It started when I woke up the computer from sleep (the first time I'd ever sleeped it) it hard froze on the log in screen. I tried hard restarting(holding down the power button) and kept running into the same problem at various points in the start up process. Eventually I got into the recovery menu and tried various troubleshooting and recovery options unsuccessfully. Eventually after some digging around online I found out it might be a ram issue and it seemseem to have worked to change the ram timing from auto to link. However, now that the computer is on if my ram usage gets above 4 gb I get bsod with "watchdog violation". Not sure what to do at this point or even how to troubleshoot ram issues.
Specs
Intel i7-4790k 4 ghz
Patriot 32GB(4x8GB) Vier III DDR3 1600MHz ram
1 tb 350 Evo ssd
R9 390 gpu
Not sure what else you might need please let me know if you can help!
Thanks!

Have you disabled Intel Haswell's C6/C7 processor power state support in the motherboard's BIOS?

The EVGA 600B is not Intel Haswell compatible. Its +5V rail goes out of ATX12V spec when tested using Intel's test procedures. It can cause problems when waking the system up from C6 or C7 sleep state.

Yep I tried that along with the scannow that they recommend with no issues detected.

Hey,
So I disabled something called "C States" in the bios and that seemed to do the trick (using 5.3 GB currently and no issues). Thank you so much for your help I would never in a million years have thought of that.
Thanks again!
