I have a Gateway DX4320-01e, with AMDPhenom 11x4 945 quad core, 1 TB HD, 6 GB DDR. My NVIDIA GeFORCE 315 video card just died. Whatwould be a good, affordable replacement? I do game, but not much online.

OP, are you just looking for an affordable replacement for the GPU?

As CapyWarrior has stated, it's an old build - but if it's still working for you, a cheap GPU upgrade would be fine.

The 315 was an OEM, entry-level card in 2009 - so a cheap replacement (that's still an 'upgrade' in performance) shouldn't cost much at all.

Do you know the spec of the PSU in there? The 315 was a 33W card..... so almost anything will add some extra power draw.

Honestly, I would look at the used market. Something like a 750TI is still $100 new, but can be had for ~$50 used.
GTX 550, 560, 660 (and TI options) are all available pretty cheaply.

You might have a bit of a bottleneck with your CPU, but you'll see a solid performance boost for minimal...
