Hello everyone,
I have two monitors, one is a Iiyama which has a dual link DVI-D and the other is a old HP monitor that only has a VGA connector, which use a passive VGA to DVI-D connector.
I want to buy a GTX1060 videocard to replace my old GTX560 Ti and I'm using it to play games like counterstrike. But the new videocard has usually only 1 DVI-D connector, 1 HDMI and many displayport and my monitors dont have any displayports.
Now my question: is it feasible to use a passive adapter from VGA to display port for my old HP monitor and using DVI-D for my Iiyama?
Or shall I buy a HDMI for Iiyama and let my HP monitor use the DVI-D connector.
Thanks you in advance and sorry for my bad english.
