I'm currently working on a little machine to play some games from my younger days.

I've got a Dell Optiplex 745 SSF running Windows XP pro 64bit, and I'm currently looking for a graphics card. As most of the games I want to play are relatively low spec, I was wondering if something like an AMD 5450 HD would suffice.

- I'm limited to 275 watts
- Will it work (there's a driver for XP but will it actually be sufficient as my primary video card?)
- What is DMS59, and is it something I need to worry about.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So that graphics card requries 300W unless I am mistaken, but luckily enough for you, I own a Otiplex 755 SFF with the same 275 watt PSU, and I can verify that it works with that graphics card. You should be able to play older games no problem, as well as modern games like TF2 and CSGO.

I am not sure if it will run with XP, but it works with Linux
