BIOS-Hotfix-Chipset Which way to go.

I have a Rampage V Extreme. It is a bit confusing to me when I have to deal with their updates. They have Bios, Hotfix, Chipset and also the drivers. Can anyone help me better understand their terms?

I also thought the AI Suite 3 was to do all the updates, except for the BIOS. It never seems to work.

I tried getting answers to this on, ROC "Republic of Gamers" with no luck. Hopefully, I will get a better response here.

My BIOS is as old as the beginning of SSD, so it seems. There was no M.2 and many other hardware improvements. So I do have to update, not by choice but by necessity.
If I use Device Manager to update my drivers does the system know where to find Asus drivers? Or do I have to download them and navigate to them?
