USB Keyboard randomly disconnects

Hi,

my keyboard started to randomly disconnect and reconnect. I built the PC a week ago and after a couple of days it started to do this, but the mouse works just fine.

I tried to plug the keyboard to all the USB plugs and uncheck the power management box. The keyboard works only in the front panel USBs.

Specs:
MoBo: ASUS B150 Pro Gaming
Keyboard: Genius KB-G265

Thanks for help. I'm all out of ideas.

That flashing back-light looks to be a voltage issue on the system. You may want to contact the board vendor for an RMA see if they will exchange it. Also if that keyboard has a split USB cord make sure both USB ends are plugged in.

Thanks for your answer...

I tested the system with another keyboard and the keyboard with another system. Both worked fine. I used the keyboard with my laptop for couple of years.

New thing I discovered is that when I plug the keyboard in some of the USBs it doesn't connect but the backlight flashes rapidly and nothing else happens.
