The processor I'm planning to buy (i5-6600K) supports up to 2133mhz DDR4.
So I found 2 sets in about the same price.
Kingston Savage 2x8GB DDR4-2133 CL13 would have 12.19ns delay.
Kingston Savage 2x8GB DDR4-2400 CL12 would have 10ns delay.
So if I put inside 2400 CL12 it would run at 2133 anyway (unless I overclock the CPU) but would the CAS stay the same?
2133 CL12 is like 15-20 quid more so simple math
I'm also planning to buy Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme S 99.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler or something similar. What OC can I expect and how much would it boost my RAM frequency capability?
