Hi Guys,

I am building a new system.
Motherboard: GIGABYTE H61M-S2PV
CPU: intel socket 1155, i3
Memory: OCZ3P16004GK PC3 12800

Basically, it powers up and I can see the POST, and I'm able to boot from USB drive. Few seconds into installation it shuts down and reboot itself. At this point, I can't install OS, and it keep rebooting.

I'm not sure if I have the correct memory. I took this memory out from other working system.

Can some help me if I have correct memory?

I can't see what else could be wrong? If you have bent CPU pins, will it still boot up?

Solution
Hi Alexoiu,

Thank you for your help. I found the issue. The memory I am using has ECC, an my motherboard DIM slots takes only non-ECC memory.
I put in non-ECC memory and it boots up ok. It is no longer rebooting now. No flickering screen now.

I was trying to install Windows 10 Pro x64

Now I am using memory:
C:\Windows\system32>wmic memorychip get PartNumber
PartNumber
CT51264BA160B.C16F
CT51264BA160B.C16F

C:\Windows\system32>wmic memorychip get speed
Speed
1333
1333

I will do some more testing.

Flicking screen started see this morning only.

Each time I'm getting different colour of flicking screen.
