SATA Power Y Splitters: Safe to use with SSDs?

Hello,

I have a Antec IPA450 450W Power Supply, powering 3 storage devices and one optical drive. This PSU only has 3 SATA power connectors, so I've been using a Y splitter (1-to-2) to power my 2 HDDs.

Now I'm hoping to add another HDD to my system and wondering if it's safe to use a Y splitter (1-to-2) to power SSD and the new HDD using it.

I'm already using a Y splitter with my HDDs and has no problem with it - but here I'm concerned about the SSD and it being the system drive.

Is it safe to connect my SSD to a Y splitter despite it's missing 3.3v wire?

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
HDDs: Clover 1TB + WD Caviar Blue 1TB

Please let me know if you need further information.

Thanks in advance :)

One Molex can extend to 3 SATAs? Cool! Got a couple of Molex connectors too, but only extended SATA with Y splitters :)
