The issue seems to only affect certain games and only when I am gaming. The games I mainly play right now are WoW and Heroes of the Storm (I know, such a waste of potential). Both have graphics set to the max.

My other pertinent system specs are:
i5--3570k @ 3.4GHz
850W Corsair HX PSU
8 GB of RAM
Windows 10 Home

So far I have ran a Prime95 and Heaven Benchmark on loop for 30 minutes. GPU got up to about 80c before stabilizing. Memtest86 results are pending. Will run after I finish this post.

The symptoms seem to be that when in game, will randomly completely shut down as if all power is lost, then come back on like nothing happened. It will sometimes then run fine for the rest of the night or repeat the issue. It seems to be completely intermittent. Windows Error reporting only states that the device shut down unexpectedly, but does not give any other info.

A side note is that I can hear a faint buzzing sound coming from somewhere in the computer after the GPU was installed (Probably the GPU itself), but only when a game is being run in the foreground. If I the game set to not run in the background and I minimize the game, the buzzing stops. Im unsure if this is related or not. The buzzing noise also seems to get louder at times, usually when the graphics are especially more intense than usual.

This issue only started presenting itself when I swapped my GTX 780 out for it.

My theory is its the card but Im willing to take suggestions before starting the RMA process.

Update: I finished the memtest that I did several passes on and no errors were found.
