Simple question. EVGA GTX 1080 SC or the ASUS Strix OC GTX 1080?

My Specs:-
i7-6700k
Asus Maximus VIII Hero Alpha
Corsair Vengeance LPX ddr4 3000mhz
Corsair h115i
WD Black 2TB
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
EVGA G2 850w
Corsair 400C

Solution
Out of the 2 I would say the Asus STRIX GTX 1080 is the best, it has higher default clock settings, and when overclocked it gets even higher. With the triple fan setup on the Asus, it will allow it to be even cooler, and no doubt it has the fans off before it reaches 60c, and even when they're on they're extremely quiet.

So my vote would be the Asus STRIX OC GTX 1080.

I can tell you from experience of owning both cards, I first bought the EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 FTW because of the design of the card and the reputation that EVGA seems to have on the internet, and i was amazed with it when i installed it, having said that. After 2 hours of gaming my monitor went black, and the whole computer froze up, and the fans on the graphics card sped up to 100%, i tried several things to fix it thinking it was over heating, after a few hours i simply returned it for another FTW card, installed the second card and it worked for about 3 weeks, then one day randomly it dit it again, black screen, fans sped up to 100% fan speed. I returned the card again and purchased the Strix 1080 and have had 0 problems with it, i upgraded from a Asus GTX 560 that i had for 5 years as well that had 0 problems with. So yeah after all that id say go with the Strix, lol sorry i had to vent a little, hope this helps you decide.
