I have just bought an Asus GTX 1060 dual which has a 6 pin female power plug on it and my Corsair RM750 has a number of spare 6 pin and eight pin power plugs. (I have no corsair leads left.) I bought a 6 pin power lead but it is male to female. Anybody have any idea what cable or adaptor I require?

Solution
You use the 6+2 pins , you just leave out the 2 pin. Your all set.

1 x ATX Connector
1 x EPS Connector
2 x Floppy Connector
7 x 4-Pin Peripheral Connector
4 x PCI-E Connector You have more than enough. :D
8 x SATA Connector

Thanks for the reply. It was very helpful. I never got all the cables in the first place and stupidly never sent it back but accepted the one I needed from Corsair. I gather this model was subject to recall? If not then I will have to buy it. At least I now now which one.
