Dead pixels on new monitor?

I have a laptop that has a dead single pixel for 3 years now,,, I never bothered with it. (ire replacing it) you learn to ignore it, if it is a annoyance, get it replaced

Well, I don't know how many dead pixels you must have to complete warranty, but if you can return it I would return it because it's just annoying.
