Will there be a short length RX 480?

I am looking at replacing the video card in my desktop soon. The issue is that I have a lack of space in my RVZ01 case due to putting a radiator block right in front of the video card; leaving room for short length video cards only. Looking at AMD's and Nvidia's options, the only 2 series of cards that I see with this generation so far is the RX 460 and the GTX 1060.

Is there any plans for a RX 480 to be released in shorter length since it is able to at least compete with the 1060 performance/RAM wise? If not, I think AMD is making a big mistake there as there is a definite market for short length, mid to high performance cards.

I would say get the ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1060 Mini its only 174mm long. Even if AMD releases a RX 480 mini it will still be slower than the GTX 1060 and the RX 460 would not be worth if you plan on gaming.

Not asking for which to get between 460/1060 as the 1060 is obviously faster than the 460. With the 480, it runs neck and neck with a 1060 in benchmarks. Since Nvidia doesn't support freesync; if you already have that type of monitor, you'd only run Nvidia if there is no other choice. Again, a big mistake if AMD doesn't release something.
