well its just as I said in the title my computer got water in it not long ago. I managed to dry it out fully and it boots up sometimes. And when it dose boot up its like nothing happend at all besides the time is always wrong no matter how many times I set it which I think means the small battery is dead. It was just a random accident the other day I was running to answer the phone and knocked a glass of water off the table it hit the ground and splashed water onto the side of the casing which has air vents my monitors went bonkers and I ripped the power cord out without even thinking I'm sure that is the only reason it dose anything any more. After I opened it up I discovered the only thing that had water on it was the video card and the plastic fan edge of the cpu I felt lucky but still unlucky and did a deep dry on the video card. I did a extra dust cleaning I usually do one every month but I wanted to make sure I hadn't missed any droplets of water the pc will boot only after I pull the power cord multiple times it seems. I am wondering if during the time before I yanked the cord it somehow did some damage to the power device but it doesn't sound right since it works perfectly when it boots right dose the battery have a huge impact ? I thought it only impacts the date/time storage

as I said I need to pull the power cord multiple times to get it to power on I press the power button on the front like normal after putting the cord back in if I dont remove the cord it wont work it will sometimes try to boot then fail and then the power button wont even try again or the power button just wont do anything but ether way I am forced to remove the power cord every time I try the battery is in place
