Hello !

I built a PC - which worked perfectly fine for about 2 months.
Since last week, I can't turn ON my PC with Power Switch.

Please note that when I push the power button, I can hear the PSU running. Though, MOBO is not lit, nor are any leds of the system...

Only way to turn my PC on is to turn off then on the PSU.
Three cases :
1- As soon as I turn the PSU ON, PC turns on without having to push the Power Switch. (occurs about 4 times on 6)

2 - After I turn the PSU ON, pressing the power switch will turn on the PC (occurs about 1 time on 6)

3 - After I turn PSU ON, pressing the power switch will just make the PSU running - I can say that by the noise it makes -( (MOBO and LEDS are off)

Note that my PC can SOMETIMES turn on when I push the power switch after shuting down my PC. It's rare, and would always work until I have state 3). I then have to turn OFF then ON PSU to make my PC turn ON again...

*I tried to plug and unplug the RAM 2 times
*Rewired everything (although I don't think they're faulty, since my buidl worked flawlessly for about 2 months)
*Unplugged all USB connectors, HDMI and all others connectors except PSU
*Unplug PSU, push the power switch

I don't know what's faulty and what should I do.

Here are some of my PC components :

MOBO : MSI B150 GAMING M3
PSU : LDLC XT-750P 80PLUS Platinum (ATX12V, EPS12V)
GPU : GTX 1070
Storage : SSD Sandisk Plus 480 Go
CPU : i7 6700
Cpu cooler : BeQuiet! Pure Rock
RAM : G.Skill 1x8gb DDR4 (2133 MHz - CL15)

All of these components are less than 2 months old.

Could you help me to figure out what's wrong please ?

Hello... There can be live LOW voltage on the MB and chips from the PS... (some people want a USB charging station from their MB) unless you flip the PS switch off to drain it, this will clear the "1's" to zeros on the MB chips, for a problem free boot up... I use a master Multi-plug power strip to switch all my Components OFF and ON between use, in a convenient location.

Might work... But I don't think that's normal though. I mean, my PC worked flawlessly for 2 months.

I'm gonna google live low voltage for psu, but I really don't understand why such a thing is happening

EDIT : Can't find anything about that :(

Hello... That's how your MB/case "ON" button works... there is Voltage on it from the PS... It is Typical in the real world that the Power Down/drain will always clear the CHIPs of the system to Logic "0" status... I consider your situation normal, but give the MB Tech support a call too verify... you Do still have RMA on your items. B /
