Can anyone tell me if my two sticks of 16GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz can be used in a dual channel configuration with the 6800k Broadwell-E? My X99 motherboard supports a dual channel mode and supports DDR4 @ 3333 MHz but the Broadwell-E CPU apparantly only supports DDR4 @ 2400MHz. Do i absolutely have to use a quad DDR4 configuration @ 2400Hz with this CPU? ....I'd appreciate any feedback.. thanks

The DRAM initially will go to the mobos default of 2133 from there for 3200 will probably need an OC of the CPU to run at full spec, but simply enable XMP and the BIOS will set the DRAM up for you
