I have a prebuilt hp computer that I upgraded with a new graphics card last January. I currently have a 1tb hdd and it just isnt enough, I have a LOT of steam games. What do I need to make sure of before I buy another hard drive? (ex. compatibility, space, the right plugs, idk) I believe I have a extra sata plug for it but I just need a list of what I need to make sure of. I just want the extra hdd for my video games, I dont need to switch the OS over or anything. Ill probably just get another 1 tb hdd, so in total it will be 2 tb. I just need everything to go smoothly

Specs:
HP Pavillon 500-009c
i5 3330 3.00 ghz
Evga 750ti graphics card
8 gbs of ram
1tb hdd
Windows 10

OK, make sure your PSU has a SATA power cable.

They look like this: http://

Looks like your case only has one 3.5" Drive bay and that's going to be occupied

Personally, I find that hard to believe, but that's what the specs states. Without an additional 3.5" drive bay, there's no where to mount a second hard drive.

If the specs are wrong, then all you would need is another SATA power connector from your power supply:

And a SATA cable:

Your motherboard has four SATA ports so you're good there. You should still have two free. Again, it's a matter of whether or not you have space to mount it.
