hey guys and gals, in need of a new cooler for my cpu. im new to watercooling as ive always gone for air coolers, i didnt like the thought of water in my machine haha but i have realised its the way forward for cooling. so my i5-4690k is overclocked to 4.1ghz and under full gaming or stress testing load it hits nearly 80degrees, this is with a hyper evo 212 cooler, id like something which can knock me well under 60 degrees. i have £50 to spend on a new or used cooler....any ideas would be great, ive been looking at the corsair h45 as its £50 new but like i said before im a noob at watercooling haha

As far as CPU OC and cooling goes, there's a guideline to follow from worst to best: Intel stock cooler -> Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO -> Cryorig H7 - > Noctua NH-D15 -> NZXT x61 Kraken -> custom made water loop.

As far as Corsair H45 goes, it's inferior to Hyper 212 EVO and you'll get worse cooling with it.
For upgrade to the Hyper 212 EVO, you're looking at Corsair H80. But H80 does cost about 83 quid.

While the Noctua NH-D15 is the best CPU air cooler, it doesn't fit into your case.
NZXT x61 Kraken is the best AIO water cooler and it does fit into your case but it also costs about 116 quid.

If you want to reach your target of under 60C at full load with 4,1 Ghz, go for Kraken.
