I was thinking of getting 2 radeon rx 480 gpu´s for my GA-970A-UD3P motherboard and i am not really sure if it is supported, Does anyone here know if it is? and if it´s not supported can someone tell me of other gpu´s i can run with crossfire instead?

That motherboard supports 2 way crossfire so technically you can crossfire any cards that are the same model but its AM3+, there is no CPU that board supports that is strong enough to keep up with 2x480's, the best CPU's will struggle with 1x480.

Also have you researched the issues and limitations of crossfire? The big one being not all games support it and out of those that do some don't support it very well. You also need to ensure your PSU is up to the job and your case has good enough airflow.

thanks for the quick answers. I had no idea crossfire had such limitations on it. Maybe it would just be better to buy one GTX1070 as jester pointer out. and from what i have read my Coolermaster B600 v2 should not have problems supplying the nessecery power that gpu needs
