I have I5 4690k and Maximus VI gene

and i overclocked it at 4.6ghz with 1.28v

and im getting at 87 deg Celcius max and 78 minimum using Intel Burn test (stress testing )

is it a good overclock ? what should i do ? should i lower to make temp go lower ?

i have custom water cooling

Solution
Ok, so your temps are running too high. Check the waterblock mounting and make sure you don't have too much or too little thermal paste. Experiment with pump speed and increase the radiator fan speeds if possible.
Those temps are a little higher than I would like to see and higher than I would expect with a custom loop. You should be able to run at 70C or so with a custom loop and that vcore. In reality, you probably won't see those temps in actual usage, so I would try some extended gaming and check the temps while in game.
