This morning my monitor goes black while I'm loading up the Halo 5 Forge app in Windows 10 and will not respond. It's been working fine for hours over the course of approx 5 days, so I was unsure as to what the heck was going on. I swapped out cables, etc etc but couldn't get my monitor to do anything but black. But it wasn't saying "No Input", like it does when I unplug the monitor. So I shut it off and turn it back on again and get this popup labled "Live Update" and this message:

"The platform does not support this application."

I think that something must have installed a new driver in the night? Maybe it is a recently created driver, because everything was working fine for a week since installing the new card. Not sure if it was Windows Updates or something else. I have an Asus motherboard and in my research/troubleshooting this morning, I'm coming across all sorts of posts about conflicts between Asus motherboards and higher end MSI graphics cards, but as stated they've been playing well for almost a week using the Halo 5 Forge app and also playing Gears of War 4.

I'm thinking of using a restore point to see if that stops the issue. Thing is, supposedly it's connected to the "Live Update" that comes with the card, and the MSI Gaming App, but I've never booted up this gaming app, so not sure why it would be trying to run. I am connected to only one monitor, but I am using a switch to go between my pc and Xbox via cap card, but I did wire straight into the monitor from my pc before rebooting, trying to rule that out as the problem.

Anyone have any clues as to what might be going on here? Any help would be appreciated!
