I am currently trying to SLI two GTX 970's

One is: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-2978
Two is: Gigabyte GV-N970IXOC-4GD

CPU: Ivy Bridge i5-3570K
MB: ASUS ROG Maximus V Gene

I have the bridge installed and the bios shows both video cards have a X8 channel assignment.

I have also re-installed the graphics drivers but the control pannel keeps telling me that no bridge is installed.

Is there a setting I am missing or is there another issue. I witnessed the EVGA card in SLI when i bought it and am using the same bridge. Or do I need to install some software to work around this?

Any info would help.

Thank you.

-Defective SLI Bridge?
-Try the other connection for the SLI bridge (should be two on each card)

Not sure if this will help but I would remove both cards, uninstall the drivers, then put one card in and download the newest drivers. Then put in the second card and connect the SLI bridge and then try enabling SLI.
