Hi there
my little brother has a problem with his new disk on key,he brought a 2tb disk on key from ebay, and i might say that i had this problem with a hard drive once
the problem is that he waited 2 days to move about 400 gb of data to this new disk on key and when he "deplugged" the disk on key from the computer and inserted it again it came with a messege that the disk on key needs to go through a format before using it
and he already used it and he doesnt want to wait 2 days again to wait till its done

by the way i had this problem on the other hard drive of 500GB,i had games on it and after a while using it when i plugged the hard drive/disk with usb to the computer and it asked me to format the hard drive before using, now while then it didnt realy bother me to do so but my little brother needs a relible disk on key that doesnt ask for formatting, aspecaly not every day.

if it adds to this problem i might say that this disk on key was a very cheap one, usually i would think on a regular electronics store that 2 tb needs to be in a big hard drive which costs alot, this 2tb disk on key took about more or less 10 dollars.
thanks for all who helps

The firmware on it has been altered to tell you it is 2TB. It is not.

It could be a 500mb or 1GB USB that they get for $0.25 in bulk.
Flash the firmware, put a new label on it, sell it to the unsuspecting.

And yet you are posting here to tell us that it doesn't work. I have to agree with others - unless you paid thousands of dollars this is a scam.

Return it to the vendor and ask for your money back. Else, raise a complaint with eBay.
