I was just wondering how to fix this because it keeps happening over and over again.

I would first recommend a BIOS update to 3402 for better system stability and memory support.
Clear CMOS and update BIOS using rear IO panel and flashback port. If not sure how, consult your MB manual chapter 2.2. this is the best and safest method. Download BIOS from ASUS support, X99ST.CAP to an empty fat32 formatted USB stick.
Once Bios is updated you can then enter BIOS and tune for performance.
