So the thing is that when i start my pc gpu fans are of as they should be on low temps but as soon as gpu gets some work and heats up fans spin at max. When i return to desktop gpu fan speeds stay at max all the time eaven thou gpu gets no load at all. Temperatures are normal and it is not owerheating. Its a brand new car... Can it be asus gpu tweek problem or something? I tryed uninstalling gpu tweek and using msi after burner but same thing hapens. If i try to change fan speed it ramps up to max and stays there.

I personally didn't have a problem with my strix 1080, except well the opposite ... the fan's werent ramping up enough for work and were off all the time until the gpu hit like 50 degrees or something.

Check for a patch as mentioned, and make sure your driver is up to date.
Also install the ASUS GPU Tweak utility, and in it I recommend making a custom fan curve, as theirs (when working correctly) is actually not aggressive enough imo. Even on DirectX 12 benchmark my gpu never got above 52 degrees with 45 percent fan throttle.

i uninstalled asus gpu tweak and msi after burner since they both stuck fans at 100%, removed card from mobo and put it back in so that gpu bios would recover to defoult after asus gpu tweak messes it up and everything works normal now. fans start spining at ~57 degrees and max i saw was 70 degrees.

thats the thing with 10 series nvidia custom cards, they dont run hot at low loads so fans turn on at 55-60 degrees and run on low rpm. myself i dont mind that, my case has good airflow so it allways get cold air, and for gpu anything bellow 80 is a good thing

I only use GPU Tweak in summer months to set a minimum temp for fans of about 5C so its always on, as it helps keep rest of PC cool. Other than that the fan is never on. Seems its the opposite problem for some on new cards.

Glad you sorted it out
