GPU and CPU temperatures?

Hi everyone,

I have a Gtx 960 4GB Gpu, a MSI 970 Gaming Mobo, a AMD Fx-8320e Cpu and a Corsair 400c case. Plus, I use the stock cooler of the 8320. The thing is that today I played Mafia III on Low-Medium at 50-60 Fps for around 10 minutes, and then checked my hardware tempertures. My Cpu was around 51 C and my Gpu 65/75 C. I worried a little bit because those seem pretty high, especially considering that I played only 10 minutes. Are those temperatures okay? If not, why could it be? I mean in the case of the Cpu it could be because I'm using the stock fan, but what about the Gpu? I'm really worried by that 75 C. Is that even normal? What should I do?

Thanks in advance.

Those temps are fine. Start worrying about the gpu temp when it gets over 80, but I've heard people say they are fine up to 95c-100c(shutdown temp). The best way to monitor any AMD cpu is with AMD Overdrive. They give you a "thermal margin", not an actual temperature reading. Thermal margin goes down as the temp goes up, if it gets down to 0 it throttles the processor until it gets back above 0. Sometimes other programs get the readings wrong. With a 400c you should have very good airflow, so long as you aren't overclocking your cpu and the fins aren't all clogged with dust you should be just fine.

Do you think so? I've seen posts of people with the same GPU saying they have 55/60 C. Mine is closer to 75 C. It might be because Mafia III is a very demanding game, right? I played Rise of the Tomb Raider and Fallout 4 today, and I had like 50 C in the GPU. So, any recommendations? Oh, and what software could I use to monitor the temperatures in-game?
