my wd passport is not unrecognized,the light keep flashing but not blinking

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the WD My Passport external drive!
I'd strongly recommend you go into Disk Management in Windows and check how and if the HDD is recognized there. Posting some screenshots would be really helpful. Another thing you should try is connecting it with a different USB cable and to a different USB port on your computer. If you have access to another laptop/PC, I'd also suggest plugging the hard drive there as well to see how it would get detected by the other system.
As soon as you can access your files on the WD My Passport, make sure you back them all up somewhere else immediately!

The drive might have failed, but you'll want to try and run some diagnostics if you can to be sure.
- One thing to try would be to run Data Lifeguard on the drive (if it can access it): Link to WD Data Lifeguard
- If you have another USB port it might also be worth trying to plug the drive into a different port.
-If nothing above gives you any helpful result and your WD Passport is still under warranty then you should definitley get in touch with WD here.
