Hello everyone

I just want to preface this by saying I am a total noob and so apologies

Downloaded Total war: warhammer the other day but my graphics card is not up to scratch so my brother has kindly given me his old geforce 580

Now though I need a new power supply unit to run that

I feel I am slowly going down a very expensive road very quickly just to play a £30 game as everyone seems to think you need an ûber power supply or I will burn alive while playing it.

I get buy cheap, buy twice, but surely there must be some kind of compromise for someone like me who just wants to use the Internet and run a game a couple of hours a week.

Could you please help me find a power supply for my needs?

Spec as follows:

Intel core i7-2600 quad core
Asus p8p67 3.0 crossfire
16gb Kingston hyper x dual ddr3
Windows 10 64bit

Many thanks guys!

or you can wait for them to re-stock this:

the gtx 580 is a power hog that requires both a 8-pin and 6-pin pcie cable, minimum a decent 600w
