Hello, I have ordered a HyperX Fury 4GB 1600mhz RAM memory, and I then realised that my motherboard supports maximum 1333mhz. My question is, will the RAM that I bought work? Will it automatically decrease to 1333mhz? Thanks a lot! Answer ASAP.

By the way, my motherboard is an ASUS m4a88t-v evo/usb3 and I have a Amd Athlon II X3 460 cpu.

Solution
You can run the ram at 1333mhz, because you had the Athlon II X3 460.
Here is from asus:
"4 x DIMM, Max. 16GB, DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066 Hz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
* Due to OS limitation, when installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows® 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Install a 64-bit Windows® OS when you want to install 4GB or more memory on the motherboard.
* AMD AM3 100 and 200 series CPU support up to DDR3 1066MHz." https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A88TV_EVOUSB3/specifications/
